About This Program

The Doctor of Christian Ministry (B.C.M.) is a ministry-focused undergraduate degree offered by Bethesda Biblical Institute through flexible distance learning. This three-year program is specifically designed for church workers, deacons, evangelists, and pastoral leaders who desire biblical and practical training directly applicable to their ministry roles.

Structured across six semesters and twenty-four subjects, the B.C.M. emphasises the practical dimensions of ministry — church planting, pastoral care, Christian worship, ethics, and church administration — alongside a thorough biblical and theological foundation.

"The Doctor of Christian Ministry is for those who are called to serve in the Church — equipping them not just with knowledge, but with the practical wisdom and ministry skills to lead effectively for the Kingdom."

Through academic affiliation with Salt Lake Bible College, graduates receive recognised qualifications within a broader theological education network. The B.C.M. serves as excellent preparation for the Master of Divinity or Master of Religious Studies. For those beginning from the foundational level, the Diploma in Theology is the ideal preparation.
